Well, it just so happens that I gave this assignment today to violate a social norm. Pictures and video of the violation is worth extra. So toward the end of class we are watching a clip on "social influence" and I stop the video. One of my students stands up and is talking on his phone. I'm taken by surprise....ask him what he is doing and proceed to try to take his cell phone away. He was actually doing his homework....and was videotaping my reaction to him using his cell phone. He got me so bad!! I don't even want to see the video of my reaction....heck, I even encourage use of cell phones (for education purposes)....his behavior was just so blatant. Anyway....we all had a great laugh on the student who got over on his teacher on his own assignment!
